Protagonist!

I decided to create the character of a masculine man. I stereotyped my ideas that link in with this specific character and came up with the idea of him being seen as the 'hero'.  He would be someone that is looked up too and respected. These aspects may link to him being the one that 'saves the day' has friends family and may be a ladies man. This character would pay a crucial role in a film as there is often a 'hero' in thriller films, sometimes they are unexpected hero's and others it is obvious who the hero is. A female audience would relate to this protagonist because they would find him attractive. On the other hand men would idolize the character of the 'man who saves the day' this means that a film with a hero protagonist would relate to a male or female audience. This type of protagonist could also be seen as a fairytale type of story which may attract a younger audience. Such films as Enchanted would relate to this, as it has a male hero protagonist.
