Progress post
Today in our lesson on the 31st of January we were able to make a start on editing our footage. It was a successful day as we managed to edit the first minuet. Although we are still unable to add cross dissolves yet, we will do that at the end when our footage is edited. In this lesson we matched up our different sections of footage and were happy with how they worked together.

Transition and effect research
I don't think that we will use many elaborate transitions and effects in our opening as I don't think that they are needed.
however I think that it would be effective to use a dissolve transition between the last shot of the pill pot and the title of our film. I believe this would create an eerier atmosphere as the last shot would linger on slightly.
Also i think it would be effective to use slow motion when the bag is dropped to the floor and the contents fall out. This would create emphasis and would express to the audience how important it is to the character.
