2012 typography analysis

The beginning of the credits are superimposed before the integrated credits begin. The credits are reversed out copy with white text being layered over a coloured background making them clearer and easier to read. The credits are all written in capitals giving it a sense of importance and almost nobility. The font is very plain and therefore provides clarity amongst the quite busy landscape behind .It also makes a very strong picture setting the tone for the entire film. There is also a significant time gap between each credit giving the audience time to look at the background whilst the credits are rolling. I think overall the credits give a strong start to the film adding suspense along with the music and the fast moving camera.
