Font research

We are looking for a handwritten font that we can use for our credits and our title. We decided to find a handwritten font because it is feminine and we are using a female lead character. It can also be eerie as it can look like it has been written quickly and in a rush.

These are fonts that we have seen and thought could be suitable

This font is called Callie Hand. We like this font because it is fluid and feminine but also still easy to read. It could be seen as our characters writing.Although this font looks handwritten we wanted it to look more frantic like its been written more quickly. Due to this we are going to research other font but this is a possibilitty. This would link in to our target audience of female as women would be able to relate to it.

This font is called Soul Handwriting. Our whole group like this font as although it looks hand written it is more scruffy and rushed. This is font is a strong possibility for our credits and title. We shall compared to some others to make sure we are choosing the best one. This would also appeal to our female target audience as it is still quite fluid.

This font is called Brasserie. This is again one of the group favourites as we like the scruffy handwritten effect. Also it looks like it hasn't been written in a great quality pen which adds to the effect of it being written by a rushed mad psychopath. Again it would appeal to our target audience and would be a suitable possibility

This font is called Magical Marylin. This font is very unsuitable as it is too girly with the heart and looks like it has been written by a teenage girl. It also looks like it hasn't been taken seriously and would not give a suitable outcome for out thriller. We will therefore not be using this font. Although this would appeal and relate to our target audience of young females it could not create the right effect for a thriller no matter who the target audience was.

This font is called Rai. We like this font as it looks feminine and would appeal and relate to our target audience. It is nice as it looks like it has been written with a fountain pen but is still not really neat like the first font we looked at.

We have decided to use the font Soul Handwriting as it gives a good effect and is suitable for we we are trying to achieve in our thriller.
