One possible Thriller convention that I would rather like to use would be the black and white camera effect. Automatically it would create an eerie and dark atmosphere in the film. Using this, we could also include shadows which help to give the viewer a sense of ' something is about to happen'.

A second thriller convention would be to make one thing stand out in colour whilst the rest in black and white which would give emphasis on the certain object that is highlighted. So with the use of
editing would make things look significant- for example in Schindlers list with the girl in the red coat, but instead use a rose to stand out on a grave instead in our opening.
