Credit research

After creating our credits for our thriller opening and after our teacher watching it, we realised that we needed to do some more research on what is included and what order the credits come in, in the opening of any film. We had done typography analysis on these but had not noticed these factors.

After watching several generic opening to films i noticed a pattern emerge on the order and inclusion of credits.

The order is as follows-

- ''a production company'' presents
- the distribution company (which we will make up)
-the production company
- a film by -dierctors name''
- starring (the main 2 actors name)

-TITLE

- all the other main actors, supporting actors
- casting by...
- music by...
- costume and make up by...
- edited by...
- production design/produced by...
- director of photography...
- co producers...
- written by...
- produced by...
- directed by...


Some of the credits after the title are not compulsory and differ from film to film. When re-working our credits we will decide which ones would be suitable for our opening.
