Audience research conclusion

From our audience research we have decided to aim our thriller at females aged 16-24. We chose to aim at female because from our research we found out that the female gender prefer psychological thrillers rather than action, we have decided this because it would be more effective for us to create a psychological thriller opening. We chose the age group 16-24 as it is the age group that watches the most thriller films also they would view the trailer on the internet. We have decided to use a female main character so it is not stereotyped. Also female audiences can relate to this.
